Whats the story behing the Mabel brand??

Mabel was founded by me, Laura in November 2018.

After a troublesome pregnancy during 2015 and very difficult first year with Mabel, I suffered with post natal anxiety which cumulated in a massive mental health struggle resulting in a physical and mental breakdown.

A wonderful doctor recognised my physical symptoms weren't simply down to my frequent chest infections but more mental health and referred me to therapy and put me on medication. 

A year later with a little lady full of character, spirit and a strong sense of self , Mabel challenged what motherhood was to me, forcing me to take a good look at what makes up a woman... and how we all wear multiple hats... mum, boss, sister, influencer, to name a few!

 I also learnt that it was ok to just be, to have good days and bad days, not to compare my self to others achievements and that it is my life, no one else's.

Combining this experience with a love of fashion, a family business in printing and a desire to be creative and spread the word... Mabel. was born!

Just as she...Just as she should be.
